I am currently an MD/PhD student at The Ohio State University, where I am in the department of neuroscience.  I have bachelors degrees in Religion and Chemistry, with minors in Mathematics and Military Science.  I am also a medical service officer in the Army National Guard, and previous to this I worked as an enlisted Arabic translator in an active duty military intelligence unit.  My primary interests are neuroscience, both medical and mathematical, philosophy of mind, and Semitic linguistics.  I am originally from Bellingham, Washington, and one day I hope to find my way back to the great northwest.
