Sharon Lawler was a journalist and subeditor for 10 years before moving into the library world. Currently studying for an MSc in Information and Library Studies, she works in the Special Collections of a major Scottish university, as well as copyediting for a peer-reviewed information literacy journal. Previous study subjects have included environmental policy, linguistics, history, business and fashion.
