Robson Corrêa de Camargo or Robson Camargo (born in 1952) is Professor of Theater at Universidade Federal  de Goiás - Brasil. He got his Ph.D. at Universidade de São Paulo, with a research about the performance of  Melodrama in France, England and Brasil. He teaches Aesthetics and acting at his University. He is also a theatrical director and manages a research group about Performance and the acting technics, called Máskara (mask).
 
Robson Camargo worked at Folha de São Paulo, a major Brazilian newspaper, between 1984 e 1987  and at Movimento a weekly newspaper, central in the fight for liberty during the Brazilian dictatorship (1974-1977). He has articles published at Gestos at University of Irvine and Sala Preta (Black Room) from Universidade de São Paulo. As an artistic director he performed two comedies in Spanish at Arizona State University, when he was a invited researcher: El Nuevo Mundo (1997), by Carlos Somigliana, and El Dia Que Me Quieras (1996), by José Ignácio Cabrujas.

University professor since 1976 he has also published at Urdimento (University of Santa Catarina - BR) and Manuscrítica University of São Paulo, Brasil (FFLCH/USP) and has expertise in Latinamerican Theater, Aesthetics and History of Theater, Theater for Workers and Acting Technics for  Theatrical Performance. Camargo has articles published in Portuguese, Spanish and English. He coordinates a group of Theater Theory and its Reception at the Graduate Brazilian National Research Association ( Associação Brasileira de Pesquisa e Pós-Graduação em Artes Cênicas - Abrace) and a National Commission from the Education Ministry which evaluates the Undergraduate Theater  Programs  in  Brazil.
