I have been a teacher since 1967. I taught A.P. English, theater, classical languages, and theology in high school for 41 years, most of those at La Salle High School in Cincinnati--I retired in 2008. I have been teaching theology at Xavier University since 1991. I am also involved in Xavier's theater department. I have also been studying and working with The Center for Holocaust and Humanity Education for the past 7 years--I have served as writer and director of theatrical and concerts presentations through CHHE and have taught Holocaust studies in conjunction with the Center.

My undergraduate degree is an A.B. double major: philosophy and classical languages. I also minored in anthropology. I have graduate degrees in philosophy/psychology of education and in theology.

As I touched on above, I have an extensive background in directing theater: student, both high school and college; community; and professional.
