Robert Cannon is Senior Counsel for Internet Law in the [Federal Communication Commission http://www.fcc.gov]'s Office of Strategic Planning and Policy Analysis (formerly the Office of Plans and Policy). Prior to this position, he was Deputy Director of the FCC's Y2K Task Force. He is also the Founder and Director of the Cybertelecom <www.cybertelecom.org>, a small educational project dedicated to promoting awareness of and participation in federal Internet policy. Robert moderates the Cybertelecom-l listserv and edits the e-newsletter Cybertelecom News.

Robert Cannon is a goalie coach with Montgomery Youth Hockey Association. He has also coached with Arlington Babe Ruth baseball, Arlington Aces soccer, Arlington County basketball, and Washington Area Frisbee Club.
