I am assistant professor of Religion at Appalachian State University. I have a Bachelors in Religion from California State University of Northridge, I have a masters in Religion (focus New Testament) from the Claremont Graduate University and I have a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago in Sociology of Religion. My areas of interest are Biblical Studies, Sociology of Religion, Social Theory, Fundamentalism and Apocalypticism.
