Languages; interaction between humans and machines; science fiction/fantasy and its community; geology and paleontology; cognitive and situational psychology; history outside of Western civilization. (Nothing against Western civilization, it's just that I get bored hearing about the same stuff over and over again.)

What I'm doing here

I started with The Big Cleanup. Then I decided my approach to article-writing would be to steer clear of areas where there seemed to be enough people already and stick to obscure stuff like unusual calendars and sf fandom.

My first and third articles were on the Positivist calendar and French republican calendar respectively. I though it would be fun to watch the links turn blue as Citizendium expanded, but there don't seem to be many people working on those kinds of entries. Which leads me to...

New Year's resolution!

The start of the French republican year is coming up, and I thought I'd try and fill in the entry for each day of the calendar on or before that day comes along. For a while, as long as I can keep it up, anyway. These won't be exhaustive articles, but at least something that covers the essentials. If it doesn't eat up enough of my spare time, I might try adding Postivist calendar entries, too.
