Hello! I am a woman who is highly interested in the intricacies of the world's organisms, with particular focus on fungi and arthropods. I was raised in a home where exploration of the natural world was a part of daily life, and I still find myself drawn through wood and bog, tramping about in the search for a mushroom I've never seen, or creeping up on a resting insect in an attempt to capture its essence in my mind's eye before it jumps, drops, or flies out of my reach. I'm fresh out of high school, and I'm moving all of my junk to the capital of Newfoundland to study biology in MUN in September.
