I have long-term interests in both education and environment, having obtained a mixed module BSc and an MEd from the Open University, UK. Currently working at a Medical School, where I've developed a full programme to provide academic support to medical students. I strongly support the values behind open access education and student-centred learning, and welcome the rapid democratization of knowledge enabled by the expansion of the internet and projects such as this. Main personal interests include walking in mountains, following and swimming in rivers, reading, and reading some more.
