I have a B.A. in Philosophy (with Honors) from the University of Montana, and an M.A. in Buddhist Studies (with Distinction) from the University of Bristol, England. I am currently working on my Ph.D. in Buddhist Ethics at Goldsmiths, University of London.
I have focused my studies in Ethics since 2001, when I competed in his first Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl. I have since participated in one other national bowl and coached two teams, one regional and one national. I have been a Teacher's Assistant at UM for Logic, Ethics, and Buddhist Studies courses and I was also a tutor at the Centre for Ethics in Medicine at the University of Bristol. In 2006-07 I taught Intro to Buddhism (survey) and Tibetan Buddhism (seminar) courses at The University of Montana.
My academic foci are Buddhist Ethics, Ethical Theory, Inter-religious Dialogue, and Environmental Ethics.
