Violinist Jude Ziliak is currently a scholarship student of Bayla Keyes at Boston University. Born in Indianapolis and raised in Iowa and in Sewanee, TN, he has held fellowships at the Brevard, Texas, and Hot Springs Music Festivals. He has also studied at the Royal College of Music, London, and studied English at the University of the South prior to his conservatory career. He is an enthusiastic student of historical performance practice, having studied Baroque violin with Jane Starkman and chamber music with Martin Pearlman. While less politically active than he used to be, he has been continuously engaged with literacy and music education projects with disadvantaged youth since high school, and hopes to eventually synthesize his passions for music, social justice, education, and (in an act of Wilsonian consilience) scholarship to make some sort of an impact on the world.

Welcome to the Citizendium! We hope you will contribute boldly and well. Here are pointers for a quick start. You'll probably want to know how to get started as an author. Just look at Getting Started for other helpful "startup" links, our help system and CZ:Home for the top menu of community pages. Be sure to stay abreast of events via Twitter. You can test out editing in the sandbox if you'd like. If you need help to get going, the forum is one option. That's also where we discuss policy and proposals. You can ask any administrator for help, too. Just put a note on their "talk" page. Again, welcome and have fun! Peter Ingerman 09:55, 7 June 2007 (CDT)
