Jayne Cravens is an internationally-recognized professional with more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit management/civil society. She is probably best known for her pioneering research regarding involving volunteers via the Internet (online volunteering). 2007 found her in Afghanistan, where she was a communications advisor through a United Nations program in support of an Afghan government ministry. A frequent presenter and author, she has taught remotely as part of volunteer management courses at both the University of Texas at Austin and the University of North Texas.
