I was born in 197x, and grew up in California. I attended Harvard for a year before getting a Bachelor's in Cognitive Science from Oberlin College. I have worked as a programmer and as a middle school teacher. Since 2001, I've lived in the Mayan region (Chiapas and Guatemala).
