I am a lecturer in Mathematics at Bristol University, UK. I was born in Lima, Peru; if, at some point, a Spanish-language version of Citizendium forks from the current English-language version, I would be delighted to contribute to both. I lived and studied in the United States for several years.

My specialty is number theory. My research also touches upon combinatorics and group theory. I have been called a "discrete harmonic analyst" behind my back, and decided to take it as a compliment.

While I am able to read and speak French and German, my contributions in those quarters will probably be minor. I picked up Esperanto and a little classical Greek along the way; who can tell whether either will prove useful here?
