I am a researcher in Mathematics at the École Normale Supérieure, in Paris. I was born in Lima, Peru; if, at some point, a Spanish-language version of Citizendium forks from the current English-language version, I would be delighted to contribute to both. I lived, studied and worked in the United States, Canada and (sort of) the United Kingdom for several years.

My specialty is number theory. My research also touches upon combinatorics and group theory. I have been called a "discrete harmonic analyst" behind my back, and decided to take it as a compliment.

While I am able to read and speak French and German, my contributions in those quarters will probably be minor. I picked up Esperanto and a little classical Greek along the way; who can tell whether either will prove useful here?
