Geoff Beck is the webmaster and one of the historians for the Grand Priory of Knights Templar in England and Wales.

The Priory is a member priory of Ordo Supremus Militaris Templi Hierosolymitani, the only officially recognised International Order of Knights Templar in the World. OSMTH is formally recognised as a Worldwide charitable organisation that is held in special consultative status with the ECOSOC division of the United Nations and donates to many charities and worthy causes around the World.

An avid reader of medieval and Templar history since his early teens, he became a Friend of the Order before eventually dedicating his own charitable time to the Order to help raise funds for the various charities that the Order supports. Invested as a Knight in the Order, he produced their official website www.templars.org.uk and composed most of the historical sections from his own library of books on medieval and Templar history. Although some of the sections were produced in conjunction with academics and authors who are considered leaders in this field, he privately owns a number of unique documents relating to Templar activities in his home county. He is currently concluding a long-term project to have many of these translated before they are released for public research. Most of these documents have been passed down via his hereditary titles; he is the current legal holder of two ancient feudal titles, namely Knowle and Lytchett Matravers (both in Dorset, England). Both these titles once included former Templar lands and being situated in Dorset and bound into the rich history of this most enigmatic of Orders.

Academically, he holds a double-first Bachelors degree, a Masters and a post-graduate Doctrine and is a member of the UK Institute of Directors. On the business front, he holds directorships in two consulting companies and is the Managing Director of an aviation company based at Bournemouth Airport in Southern England. He is also chairman of his family trust, the Knowle Trust, a fund dedicated to supporting worthy causes, particularly those local to his home county.

Geoff can be contacted via the official Templar website and is happy to receive constructive comment and contributions towards building up the web's most comprehensive and accurate history of this fascinating and enigmatic Order.
