Bonjour!

I am working as research engineer for the french CNRS research center at the Observatoire de Paris. Formerly, I have been working for the Hipparcos satellite data processing then science exploitation, and I am now involved in the preparation of the Gaia satellite since 1998. My papers can be found here.

I have been active for some time on French Wikipédia, as user FredA, when I have some spare time.

Not completely unrelated, my main hobby is image processing.
