I am a K-12 School Library Media Specialist in New York State. Currently I am learning social software and Library 2.0 ideas and programs to enhance my knowledge-base. I hope to encourage teachers to work in collaboration with the library media center to provide intriguing lessons in formats students are already using at home.

I really want to travel and be of service in disaster areas and places of political upheaval. My affinity for children and my belief in continuing education could come in handy some day to help with rebuilding schools and working to replace library materials and media.
