I am Irish and I am a university student studying history in Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. I would be very interested in contributing articles relating to Irish history as well as European history. Not wishing to brag or anything, but my university is the best Irish university in Europe, and I passed my first year recently, which has been celebrated with numerous pints of Guiness. I'd reccomend that to all of you :)

My interests include reading, history, football and constanstly watching and re-watching the fantastic TV series 'The West Wing'. I am also a keen socialite with strong political convictions which would place be on the left of centre economically and strongly Libertarian on personal, moral issues. I strongly, strongly support the legalisation of Ecstasy, a drug criminilised for no apparant reason other than to strengthen the hand of the criminals that provide these generally harmless (In relation to legal drugs such as alcohol) substances.
