Dea Conrad-Curry is currently working as an educational consultant in the midwest. Prior to her consulting work, she taught English at United Township High School in Illinois. She is a published author, having written numerous articles for regional magazines and newspapers. Dea is pursuing her doctorate degree in Curriculum and Instruction through Illinois State University, having previously earned two masters' degrees from Western Illinois University: the first in Literature and Langauge and a second in Educational Administration. Dea earned her bachelor's degree at Augustana College in Rock Island Illinois. Dea is married to an Illinois farmer and has raised three children.
