Good afternoon!

My most prominent public role is as a volunteer media contact for the Wikimedia Foundation, and as media officer for Wikimedia UK - my Wikipedia user page, my Wikimedia blog.

I like Citizendium even if I don't have time to get deeply into it, and may correct the odd typo or whatever. As any good netizen visiting a wiki page should!

My original CZ bio

I work as a Unix system administrator for a media company in London, working with Solaris, Linux and broadcast technologies.

I spent the late 1980s and early 1990s in the music industry in Australia and am an expert on Australian indie rock of this time.

I am also well known as a knowledgeable critic of Scientology and wrote the main Australian webpage on the subject, the Australian Critics of Scientology Resource Collection (http://www.suburbia.net/~fun/scn/ ).

Welcome to the Citizendium! We hope you will contribute boldly and well. Here are pointers for a quick start. You'll probably want to know how to get started as an author. Just look at Getting Started for other helpful "startup" links, our help system and CZ:Home for the top menu of community pages. Be sure to stay abreast of events via Twitter. You can test out editing in the sandbox if you'd like. If you need help to get going, the forum is one option. That's also where we discuss policy and proposals. You can ask any administrator for help, too. Just put a note on their "talk" page. Again, welcome and have fun!
