I have resided in southern California for my whole life, being raised in Rancho Palos Verdes and later moving to San Diego for college. After receiving a B.S. in Chemical Physics and a B.A. in Mathematics from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), I worked briefly for Hewlett-Packard before returning to UCSD for graduate school. I received my Ph.D. in mathematics in June of 2007, specializing in number theory. My dissertation was on special values L-functions. I am currently a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of California, Irvine.
