I received bachelor's degrees in Chemistry, Integrated Science, and Computing and Information Systems from Northwestern University. I received a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Scripps Research Institute. I currently work at the Genomics Institute of the Novartis Research Foundation (GNF). I lead a research group which primarily specializes in bioinformatics, specifically in the area of gene expression analysis and genetics.
