The UEFA Champions League aka European Cup (its former official name) is a football competition played throughout Europe. Each year, 32 of the best European clubs (qualifying through their own domestic leagues as well as qualifying matches), from more than 50 leagues, engage in this league-cum-knockout competition, with the winner taking home the Henri Delaney trophy.
