Template for labelling public domain media.
Usage
The template has two parameters: {{PD|reason|author}}
- Optional — the reason why this work is in the public domain. One of
author— the work has been released into the public domain by its author. The second parameter must be used to specify the name of the author.user— same as the above, but the author is a Citizen. The second parameter must be the Citizen's username.old— any copyright on the work has expired.ineligible— the work is not eligible for copyright.usgov— a work of the US government (a special case of the above).
- Required if the first parameter is
authororuser— the author's name.
