How is this different from "spiritualism"? --Larry Sanger 10:50, 20 February 2007 (CST)

Is Spiritism here, as in WP, only going to cover French spiritism? I believe Spiritism normally also covers the other movements with contact-seeking practice: The American movement (starting with the Fox sisters), the English movement (with the SPR research) and the modern Brazilian movement.
