Planetary versus Inteplanetary Probes?

What is the difference between Planetary Probes and Interplanetary probes? At present, the "Planetary Probes" seem to cover missions to Mars, but the Interplanetary Probes cover probes to other planets. I think I will merge them.Charles F. Radley 09:24, 13 May 2007 (CDT)

I made different sections for planetary landing probes vs. fly-by probes. Robert Winmill 09:59, 13 May 2007 (CDT)

Well, even that does not quite fit. Galileo was both a lander and an orbiter, not a flyby.Charles F. Radley 10:20, 13 May 2007 (CDT). Similarly, Viking was both a pair of orbiters as well as landers.Charles F. Radley 10:22, 13 May 2007 (CDT)
