Total Tennis Encyclopedia says July 3rd.  I just read the 1995 NYT obit in the July 5th edition and it says he died "Monday night".  I checked the Windows calendar on my computer and it says that Monday in early July of 1995 was the 3rd.  So I think we can say that it was almost certainly the 3rd.... ::Nah, just Googled it. The best obit I found was in the ''NY Times'', but it was written two days after, said he died on Monday (which checks with your info.), but doesn't say on what day the newspaper was published, only the date. I didn't think of using the Windows calendar. Next time ... [[User:David H. Barrett|David H. Barrett]]

Nah, just Googled it. The best obit I found was in the NY Times, but it was written two days after, said he died on Monday (which checks with your info.), but doesn't say on what day the newspaper was published, only the date.
