Deletion

Someone has proposed deleting this page, for reasons completely unknown. I request an explanation for the why this was proposed, as the text is entirely sound and accurate on a topic of major significance. Arjuna808 17:40, 18 February 2007 (CST)

I am surprised. As an Earth Sciences editor, I strongly recommend that this page is NOT deleted; instead, everyone is invited to contribute to this highest-priority topic of Earth Sciences. I suppose the deletion request was an error. --Nereo Preto 10:42, 10 October 2007 (CDT)
Oops... now I see the previous comment is dated February 2007! Deletion should have been suggested because the article was uptaken from Wikipedia at that time, and once the article was started over from scretch the discussion page popped out from a distant past... Well, the above point remains: this is a top-priority article for Earth Sciences. --Nereo Preto 10:49, 10 October 2007 (CDT)
