==Use of the Word "Terrorist"==
This became something of an issue in my Lebanon article (see the talk page), so I'll state my argument clearly up front. You set off bombs in cities where someone standing in the wrong place gets killed, you're a terrorist. You blow up civilian targets like hotels, you're a terrorist. You hijack busses, planes, or anything else, you're a terrorist. You have your goons round up innocent people and shoot them, you're a terrorist. Yes, that makes British mandate-era groups like Irgun terrorists, and it makes the PLO, Hamas, and Islamic Jihad all terrorist organizations, either in the past (PLO) or now (Hamas). Just wanted to make that clear.[[User:Steven Clark Bennett|Steven Clark Bennett]] 21:54, 17 April 2008 (CDT)
