What do people think about the structure of this article? First of all, I think "Galactic Biology" has to go. Because, what? It just seems way out of place (space or place?). -- Sarah Tuttle 10:24, 5 January 2007 (CST)

Re-write proposal

Hey James. We should throw this article up to CZ live. Also, what do you think about a complete rewrite? Sarah Tuttle 10:46, 12 February 2007 (CST)

I added the CZ Live category. removed the "galactic biology" section (it was misplaced) and put a link to Extraterrestrial life article in the See also section.
As for re-writing: sorry, right at the moment I can't help there. My plate is full for the time being with Joan of Arc related pages and I need to bring some of them to a conclusion or at least get them further along before adding more. It probably wouldn't be this one anyway. If I work on any Astronomy articles, they would most likely be 19th century and earlier. James F. Perry 12:57, 16 February 2007 (CST)

help

hi all, ermmmm you got me here. What do you mean by galaxy, milky way, M31, NGC 531 or Universe, all of them????? Robert Tito | Talk 13:09, 16 February 2007 (CST)

Pictures and graphics

As a non native speaker I'm trying to do additional kind of work instead of contributing text. I started to load up a few images from Hubble Gallery and integrated them in the article. However, I'm not really sure if they are really ideal that way. A real good graphic for "galaxy" would be the hubble sequence photo from Commons. It's GNU and produced by Ville Koisten. But I'll have to look for the right way of proceeding before loading up non public domain graphics. So long --Sebastian Breitschafter 19:07, 23 February 2007 (CST)

Disambiguation?

Since "Galaxy" is a common enough word, would it be appropriate to make this a disambiguation page? I've already got this linked to where it needs to refer to the SF magazine, and it's also a brand of chocolate. How do we do these things on CZ? I'm new, I've just come from WP.--Matthew Simon Quartermain 05:59, 27 April 2010 (UTC)

I set up Galaxy (disambiguation), from where you can start on the other uses of the word. Welcome! --Daniel Mietchen 10:22, 27 April 2010 (UTC)
