Incorrect date, but what's the correct one?

The article gave the date 1985 for the collapse of the Kandyan nobility and the replacement of the old flag by the Union Jack. Obviously this was a mistake, because the British takeover occurred sometime in the 1815-1818 period, but I don't know the exact year when the Union Jack came into use there, so I replaced the incorrect date with the vague "early 19th century." Perhaps someone has the correct year? Bruce M.Tindall 18:16, 16 May 2008 (CDT)
