Remark

I am not sure that splitting the article into sections "Psychometrics" and "Marketing" is helpful. Factor Analysis is used in many other social and physical sciences.John Williams

This article was copied from Wikipedia. On Wikipedia, I added the "psychometrics" section, dealing with the field in which factor analysis originated, and someone else added the "marketing" section. If I were very well-versed in this topic, I'd have added more. Michael Hardy 21:10, 27 May 2007 (CDT)

I think Mathematical model ended rather abruply, but I suppose it is because the article is "under construction", and will continue with a discussion of rotation: orthogonal, some oblique models, as well as dismissing less significant factors as scree. Olav Næss 06:29, 7 April 2007 (CDT)
