Disambiguate, link, combine?

There is already Altitude, which also is something of a placeholder but with a navigation and engineering focus. See also Bearing (direction).

I'm open to edits, but these certainly should cross-link and possibly merge. Howard C. Berkowitz 21:19, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

I think they are different things. Richard Pinch 21:30, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
At the very least, they need to disambiguate. That means a seealso on the first definition, or renaming it; there are quite a number of existing links to altitude so renaming might be painful.
Still, can it hurt to cross-link the mathematical and engineering aspects of the term? Howard C. Berkowitz 21:35, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
I'd already created Altitude (disambiguation) and put an otheruses tag on Altitude. What else are you suggesting? Richard Pinch 21:45, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
