Suriya Binayak is an important temple in the vicinity of Bhaktapur in the Bhaktapur District in Nepal. The temple is dedicated to the elephant-god Hindu deity Ganesh, and prayer there is believed by Hindu Nepalis to have a beneficial remedial effect on late developing children. The temple is also a popular picnic site and is crowded on Tuesdays and Saturdays when the puja traditional ceremony is conducted in the temple.
