Spider-Man

Spider-Man is one of Marvel comics' most successful superheroes; since his first appearance in Amazing Fantasy #15 (August 1962), he has proven to be one of the most enduring figures, featured in comic books, animated cartoons, and feature films. Bitten by a radioactive spider from which he obtained his powers, Spiderman has amazing abilities and can "do what ever a spider can". His powers include "web swinging" crawling up walls, strength, speed, "spider sense" and his web is as strong as steel.

Villains

Of course, being a super-hero, one can only expect super-villains. Spiderman's enemies include the Green Goblin, Doc Ock, Venom, Sandman, Mysterio, Shocker and Vulture. Being super villains, Spiderman obviously has trouble defeating them but always eventually suceeds.
