Rudolf Brandt (1909-1948) was a Standartenfuhrer (Colonel) of the Nazi SS, assigned as personal administrative officer to Heinrich Himmler and chief of the Ministerial Office in the Reich Ministry of the Interior. He was convicted of war crimes in the Medical Case of the Nuremberg Military Tribunals, and executed by hanging.
A lawyer by training, he was the point of contact between Himmler's office and a number of medicalized killing programs, including the Euthanasia Program (T4) and involuntary medical experiments.
