Philosophy of mind is the area of philosophy which deals with philosophical issues about the mind and brain: the metaphysical nature of minds, how we have knowledge of minds and mental phenomena, and the status of those mental phenomena - consciousness, qualia, intentionality, perception, memory and self-knowledge.
