[[Paranthropus robustus]] is a species of fossil hominin that lived in southern Africa between approximatly 1.9 million years and just over 1 million years ago when it presumably becomes extinct.  While it is the most numerous early hominin fossil discovered in southern Africa, it has only been found at sites within the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage site. All of the sites listed below are breccia caves.  No P. robustus fossils have as of yet been found in a fluvial or lacustrian context.

Paranthropus robustus is a species of fossil hominid that lived in southern Africa between approximately 1.9 million years and just over 1 million years ago when it presumably becomes extinct[1]. While it is the most numerous early hominid fossil discovered in southern Africa, it has only been found at sites within the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage site[1]. All of the sites listed below are breccia caves. No P. robustus fossils have as of yet been found in a fluvial or lacustrian context.
