Murchison Falls National Park is Uganda’s largest national park and game reserve. Long a popular tourist destination, it is noted for Murchison Falls, a waterfall where the waters of the River Nile rush through a seven metre gap to plunge 43 metres into Lake Albert. [1]

Guests can stay at the main lodge, or in individual cottages. Among the activites at the park are safaris and rides on the lake by launch.

Wildlife to be spotted in Murchison Falls National Park include Big game such as elephants, giraffes, lions, hippopotamus, crocodiles, and rhinocerous, as well as abundant birdlife.
