Mississippi River

The Missisippi River is the second longest river in the United States, with total length of about 3770 km. It origins in Lake Itasca in Minnesota and flows mainly north-south through the heart of the country and empties itself in the Gulf of Mexico. With the Missoury, it forms the World's fourth longest river system.
