Leevi Antti Madetoja (February 17, 1887 – October 6, 1947) was a Finnish composer of many, mainly orchestral, compositions, including three symphonies.
His music is strongly influenced by the traditional music of his home region, Ostrobothnia. His three symphonies are based on the legacy of Sibelian and Russian romanticism, Gallic clarity and folk elements. The first is in three movements, the others in four.
