Jon Callas is a computer security expert best known for work related to PGP. He has a rather out-of-date home page.

Callas worked for Digital Equipment, for Apple Computer, for PGP Incorporated, the company set up by Phil Zimmermann to commercialise his invention, and for Bruce Schneier's company, Counterpane.

When PGP Inc was bought out by Network Associates, he became CTO of NA's security division for a time. Later, he became one of the founders of PGP Corporation which bought the rights when NA decided to sell. At PGP Corp, he was Chief Technical Officer for some years. While there, he was the chief technical architect for the Open PGP specification, RFC 4880.
