The iPad is an unreleased tablet computer product announced by Steve Jobs of Apple Inc. on the 27 January 2010 at the Yerba Buena centre in San Francisco, California. The device is a touchscreen tablet-form computer that runs the iPhone "touch" OS, as well as software designed for the iPhone and specifically for the iPad, delivered through Apple's iTunes-based App Store.
