Gong Li (simplified Chinese 巩俐; traditional Chinese 鞏俐; pinyin Gǒng Lì; born 31 December 1965) is an award-winning Chinese actress, appearing in films such as Memoirs of a Geisha (2005), Curse of the Golden Flower (2006), Hannibal Rising (2007) and Shanghai (2009).
