Christianity's view on forgiveness is represented in Jesus's Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5.1-7.12). Within the Sermon on the Mount, in the Lord's Prayer (Matthew 6.9-6.13) Jesus states "And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors".
