Emotional Love interrogation techniques, sometimes called Love of Comrades, are based on the premise that if a prisoner provides information to his interrogators, it will improve the situation of his comrades. Mackey distinguishes it from Love of Family interrogation techniques. [1]

It is mentioned only in general terms of playing on the individual's love for individuals or groups the Guantanamo guidance.[2]
