David Miliband (born 15 July 1965) is a UK politician who is currently Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, the UK's foreign minister. He is one of the most senior figures in the Labour Party, and was previously Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. He has been the Member of Parliament for South Shields since 2001.
