Canal Educativo 2 (CE2) is a Cuban television channel. It was created as an extension of Canal Educativo and therefore oriented to education by means of didactic materials. However, explicitly didactic content was removed progressively from the channel with the exception of documentaries. The channel now tends to have a more generalist programming. The Cuban Institute of Radio and Television announced that as of January 20, 2013 teleSUR would share the same signal with CE2 [1]. Until that CE2 transmitted a two hours resume of teleSUR programming. After the decision was made CE2 programming has been reduced to 4 hours a day.
