Canal Educativo 2 (CE2) is a Cuban television channel. It was created as an extension of Canal Educativo and thus is oriented to education by means of didactic materials. However, explicitly didactic content was removed progressively from the channel with the exception of documentaries. The channel now tends to have more general programming. The Cuban Institute of Radio and Television announced that from January 20, 2013, teleSUR and CE2 would share signals.[1] Before that CE2 transmitted a two-hour digest of teleSUR programming; afterwards, CE2 programming was reduced to four hours a day.
